Description
This sculpture depicts a man holding a small figure most probably of the god Ptah. He is wearing a wig that terminates with curls on his shoulders, and hides the upper part of the ears. He also wears a long pleated kilt. Ptah is depicted in the shape of a mummy but his head is missing. His hands emerge from his mummy wrappings to hold the "Was" scepter, symbol of prosperity and well being, which used to be seen with the Djed pillar, sign of stability, and the Ankh sign of life. A wide collar necklace adorns his chest.

Cette sculpture représente un homme tenant un petit personnage, très probablement le dieu Ptah. Il porte une perruque se terminant par des boucles sur ses épaules et cachant la partie supérieure de ses oreilles. Il porte également un long kilt plissé. Ptah est représenté en momie mais sa tête manque. Ses mains sortent de ses enveloppements de momie pour tenir le sceptre "Was" que l'on retrouvait habituellement accompagné du pilier Djed pillar et du signe Ankh. Un large collier orne sa poitrine.
تمثل هذه القطعة الفنية رجلاً يحمل تمثالاً صغيراً غالباً يمثل المعبود بتاح. ويضع الرجل على رأسه شعراً مستعاراً ينتهى بخصلات على كتفيه ويخفى الجزء العلوى من أذنيه. كما يرتدى نقبة طويلة ذات ثنيات. أما بتاح فهو مصور على هيئة مومياء، ولكن رأسه مفقودة. وتخرج يديه من بين لفائف المومياء لتحمل صولجان الواس الذى دائماً ما يظهر مع عمود الچد وعلامة العنخ. ويزين صدر بتاح قلادة كبيرة.
