The Global Egyptian Museum

The statue of this kneeling man, holding a naos in his hands, is supported by a column at the rear. Both his feet and knees are placed on a platform. The man is wearing a round wig that leaves his ears free. 

A hieroglyphic text covers the top and front of the naos and proclaims the name and titles of the owner. It also offers a prayer to the deity.

La statue d'un homme à genoux tenant un naos dans ses mains est soutenue par une colonne à l'arrière. Ses deux pieds et genoux sont placés sur une plate-forme. L'homme porte une perruque arrondie qui laisse apparaître ses oreilles.

Un texte hiéroglyphique couvre les parties supérieures et avant du naos et proclame le nom et les titres du propriétaire. Il offre également une prière à l'attention de la divinité.

يدعم هذا التمثال عمود خلفى، و هو يمثل رجلاً راكعاً يحمل ناووساً بيديه، وقد وضع قدميه وركبتيه على القاعدة. ويلبس هذا الرجل على رأسه شعراً مستعاراً دائرياً يكشف أذنيه. 

وعلى قمة وواجهة الناووس نقش نصاً هيروغليفياً يذكر أسماء وألقاب صاحب التمثال، وكذلك صيغة تعبد للمعبودة نيت.
