Description
This painted model portrays the breadmaking process. A kneeling man wearing a short white kilt holds a lump of dough in his left hand. He kneads enough dough for one flat loaf of bread on the floured surface of the breadboard on the ground in front of him. The dough is left to ferment in the sun before being placed in the oven for baking. The fermentation helps to make thick and healthy loaves of bread.
