Description
This rectangular stela made out of painted limestone shows Amenemhat with his wife, son, and daughter. All the figures are shown seated except his daughter. She stands before an offering table heaped with different kinds of offerings. The son is depicted seated between his mother and father. Beneath the seated lady, there is a basket containing a mirror that she used for applying makeup. This scene clearly shows the longing for unity of the family, both in life and after death.

Cette stèle rectangulaire en calcaire peint montre Amenemhet avec sa femme, son fils et sa fille. Tous sont représentés assis, à l'exception de sa fille. Celle-ci se tient debout devant une table recouverte de différents types d'offrandes. Le fils est assis entre sa mère et son père. Au-dessous de la femme assise se trouve un panier contenant un miroir qu'elle utilisait pour se maquiller. La scène montre clairement le désir de maintenir l'unité de la famille, durant la vie et après la mort.
هذا اللوح المستطيل المصنوع من الحجر الجيري الملون، يصور الموظف أمنمحات مع زوجته وابنه وابنته حيث تمثلوا جالسين باستثناء ابنته، التي تقف قبالة مائدة قربان مكدسة بمختلف ألوان القربان، ومثل الابن بين أمه وأبيه، ومن تحت زوجته سلة تحوي مرآة لزينتها. يبين المنظر في جلاء الأمل في وحدة الأسرة، في الحياة وبعد الموت أيضاً.
