Description
This statuette represents Thoth, the god of knowledge, writing, and artisans, in the form of a sitting ibis, a large bird of the Nile. This ibis statuette is different from other ibis statues of Thoth because of its representation of the ibis' long legs, long toes, and long beak. The end of the tail touches the base of the statuette.
