Description
This statue belongs to Rawer, who is depicted standing on a cubic base with his arms by his sides. He holds circular objects that were probably symbols used to identify his high rank. Rawer wears a short curly wig and a short kilt. The statue is provided with a pillar to support it from the back. The great skill of the artist during that period is obvious in the magnificent depiction of the facial features and the muscles of the statue, shown in the smallest detail.

Cette statue appartenait à Rawer. Elle le représente debout sur une base cubique, les bras sur les côtés. Dans ses mains, il tient des objets circulaires, probablement des symboles servant à identifier son rang. Ajoutons que Rawer est coiffé d'une courte perruque bouclée et qu'il porte un pagne court. La statue est pourvue d'un pilier de soutien. La finesse des traits du visage et la minutie des muscles de cette statue témoignent véritablement du savoir-faire de l'artiste.
تمثال خاص برع-ور، يصوره واقفاً على قاعدة مكعبة الشكل وقد نزلت ذراعاه بجوار جسده. ويمسك فى يديه شىء مستدير، اغلب الظن انه رمز يبين منصبه الرفيع. كما يضع رع ور على رأسه شعراً مستعاراً قصيراً مموجاً ويرتدى نقبة قصيرة. ويدعم التمثال من الخلف عمود خلفى. وتتجلى فى هذا العمل الفنى الرائع مهارة الفنان المصرى الذى نجح باقتدار فى تصوير ملامح الوجه والعضلات بأدق التفاصيل.
