Description
This wooden standing statuette shows the Lady Henutnakhtu of the Eighteenth Dynasty wearing a tight pleated garment and a very tall and beautiful wig. She is holding in her right hand a flower and in her left one a staff, with which to purify the deceased. This statuette rests on a wooden base with hieroglyphic text giving the offerings and the name of Henutnakhtu.

Cette statuette en bois représente Dame Henoutnakhtou debout. Coiffée d'une très longue perruque, elle est vêtue d'un habit serré et plissé. Dans sa main droite, elle tient une fleur et dans la gauche, un tissu. Ce dernier servait à purifier le défunt. Cette statuette repose sur une base en bois sur laquelle un texte hiéroglyphique présente les offrandes et mentionne le nom d'Henoutnakhtou.
يمثل هذا التمثال الصغير الواقف سيدة تدعى حنوت-نختو لابسة ثوباً ضيقاُ ذا ثنيات، كما تضع على رأسها شعراً مستعاراً طويلاً جداً وجميلاً. وتمسك السيدة فى يدها اليمنى وردة، بينما تمسك فى يدها اليسرى قطعة قماش كانت تستخدم فى تطهير الموتى. ويرتكزالتمثال على قاعدة خشبية عليها نص هيروغليفى يذكر صيغة القرابين وإسم حنوت-نختو
