Description
This wooden statue depicts a shaved servant carrying a vase for unguent, or ointment, on his shoulder. The left arm is bent, enabling the hand to support the base of the vase, while the right arm is extended so that the hand can grip the handle of the receptacle. The vase is decorated with geometrical and floral motifs, as well as with a frieze displaying alternating plants and leaping calves. The servant's head leans forward under the weight of the vase.

Cette statue en bois représente un serviteur rasé portant un vase à onguents sur son épaule. Son bras gauche est replié pour que sa main puisse soutenir la base du vase, alors que son bras droit est tendu pour que sa main puisse saisir l'anse du récipient. Le vase est orné de motifs géométriques et floraux ainsi que d'une frise de plantes qui s'alternent avec des veaux bondissant. La tête du serviteur penche vers l'avant, alourdie par le poids du vase.
تمثال خشبي يمثل خادما حليق الرأس، يحمل وعاء على كتفه. وقد انثنت الذراع اليسرى بحيث تتمكن اليد من دعم قاعدة الإناء، على حين تمتد الذراع اليمنى بحيث تقبض على المقبض. وقد زين الإناء بعناصر هندسية وزهرية، كما تتعاقب فيه مناظر النباتات، ومناظر لعجول فى حالة وثوب. أما الخادم فقد إنحنى رأسه إلى الأمام من ثقل الإناء.
