Description
The king was originally represented standing with his left leg forward. The legs are now broken and missing. There are no inscriptions on the statue, but it almost certainly belongs to King Teti of the Sixth Dynasty because it was found in the funerary temple of that king at Saqqara. The king wears the white crown of Upper Egypt; and the royal shendyt kilt. In each hand, he was holding a roll, symbol of authority. The statue is sculpted from dark pink granite. The style of the sculpture is the typically idealistic style of the Old Kingdom, which depicted the king as being young, strong and very well built. His features are idealized, especially his eyes, which are gazing into eternity

Le roi était à l'origine représentée debout, la jambe gauche en avant. Les jambes sont actuellement brisés et perdus. La statue ne comporte aucunes inscriptions mais il est presque certain qu'elle appartenait au roi Teti de la sixième dynastie étant donné qu'elle a été retrouvée dans le temple funéraire de ce roi à Saqqarah. Le roi porte la couronne blanche de la haute Egypte et il est vêtu du shendyt, le pagne royal. Dans chaque main, il tennait un parchemin, symbole d'autorité. La statue est confectionnée en granite rose foncé. De style typiquement idéaliste de l'Ancien Empire, la statue représente le roi jeune, fort et très musclé. Ses traits sont idealisés, tout particulièrement ses yeux dont le regard fixe l'éternité.
تمثال لملك صور في وضع الوقوف بساقه اليسرى إلى الأمام؛ ولكن الساقين الآن محطمان ومفقودان. ولا توجد نقوش مكتوبة على التمثال ولكنه، على الأرجح، للملك تيتي من الأسرة السادسة؛ إذ عثر عليه بالمعبد الجنائزي للملك في سقارة. ويضع الملك التاج الأبيض لمصر العليا فوق رأسه، كما يرتدي النقبة الملكية "الشنديت" كما كان يمسك بلفافة في كل يد؛ رمزا للسلطة. ونحت التمثال من الجرانيت الوردي، وأسلوب النحت نموذج لأسلوب عصر الدولة القديمة الذي راعى تصوير الملك وهو في ريعان الشباب؛ قويا وشديد البنيان. وشكلت ملامحه بصورة مثالية؛ خاصة بالنسبة لعينيه اللتين تحدقان نحو الخلود
