The Global Egyptian Museum

A fragment of pottery that represents the lid of a sarcophagus; the facial features on the lid are clearly those of a woman. 

It is noticeable that, although the eyes are painted, the pupils are embossed, she has a prominent nose and her mouth is hollow. She is wearing a black wig, which is molded in the form of waves; it is parted in the middle and hangs down to the shoulders on both sides.

Un fragment de poterie représentant un couvercle de sarcophage; les traits faciaux du couvercle représentent clairement ceux d'une femme.

On note clairement que bien que les yeux soient peints, les pupilles sont gravées en relief, le nez est proéminent et la bouche creuse. Elle est entichée d'une perruque noire, moulée en forme de vagues et départagée au milieu, qui retombe des deux côtés sur ses épaules.

قطعة من الفخار تمثل غطاء تابوت على هيئة شكل آدمى لسيدة. تبدو تفاصيل الوجه واضحة. 

يلاحظ أن العينين مرسومتين وبداخلهما حدقة العين بشكل بارز، الأنف بارزة والفم مجوّف، وترتدى شعر مستعار لونه أسود ومجعد، ومفروق من المنتصف ثم مسترسل من الناحيتين على الكتف.
