Description
In spite of generalisation of forms caused by the hardness of stone, the statuette is an exact image of a frog. The eyes are goggled, on the back there are two rows of short incised lines perpendicular to the spine. The surface is carefully polished. Frog being an ancient chthonic deity, the statuette could have a ritual function.
