Vessel of chamois-coloured fabric with a globular body, and a broadly flared neck. It has been covered with a slip containing a high proportion of mica, termed 'Golden Ware'. The technique of manufacture and the shape are Egyptian, but the surface treatment is only met with at the Second Cataract and the Classical Kerma sites in Nubia.
