A large wooden statue of the god Osiris wearing the crown of Upper Egypt. Such statues were often used during funerary ceremonies and this one bears traces of the resin which was poured over it. Osiris was the god of the Underworld and is usually represented as mummiform, holding the crook and flail, symbols of kingship.
