This model of a house in terracotta comes from a category of funerary objects found in the necropoleis of the Middle Kingdom. It represents an offering tray in the form of a courtyard surrounded by an enclosure. The house consists of a ground floor divided into two rooms and a floor of a single glaze piece. One of the rooms on the ground floor shelters a statue of a woman seated on a chair in front of whom we find offerings, a table, five containers and three gutters used for the flow of liquid offerings. An exterior staircase gives access to the first floor where three servants do their work.
