Wavy-handled storage jar imported from the Levant, with the original contents. Imported storage jars of the late fourth millennium BC reveal a substantial volume of trade between Egypt and Western Asia at that time. The congealed fatty matter inside the jars would have been imported as oil, sometimes scented.
