Deze papyrusfragmenten, die gevonden zijn in Oxyrhynchus (P. Oxy. VI 856) en die dateren uit de 3e eeuw van onze tijdrekening, bevatten een commentaar op de "Acharniërs" van Aristophanes. Cette comédie du célèbre écrivain d'Athènes (445 - 385 av. J.-C.) est un plaidoyer pour terminer la guerre contre Sparte et pour une paix que toute la population athénienne avait longuement espérée.

Diese Papyrusfragmente aus Oxyrhynchos (P. Oxy. VI 856), die in das 3. Jahrhundert n. Chr. datieren, enthalten einen Kommentar zu den "Acharnern" des Aristophanes. Diese Komödie des berühmten athenischen Schriftstellers (445 - 385 v. Chr.) ist ein Plädoyer für die Beendigung des Krieges gegen Sparta und für einen Frieden, den die gesamte athenische Bevölkerung seit langem erhoffte.

Questi frammenti di papiro, che sono stati ritrovati a Ossirinco (P. Oxy. VI 856) e che datano al III secolo della nostra era, contengono un commentario sugli "Acarnesi" di Aristofane. Questa commedia del celebre scrittore di Atene ( 445 - 385 a. C.) é un'arringa per fermare  la guerra contro Sparta e per una pace che tutta la popolazione ateniese aveva lungamente sperato.
