Description

Reconstructed necklace composed of three disc-shaped beads of carnelian alternating with three disc-shaped beads of light blue enamel. The carnelian beads could have been carved from pebbles picked up in the Nubian desert and the enamel could be from Egypt. The craftsmanship is of good quality.

Collier reconstitué composé alternativement de trois perles discoïdes en cornaline et de trois perles discoïdes de pâte émaillée bleu clair. La cornaline pourrait avoir été taillée dans les galets ramassés dans le désert nubien et la pâte émaillée être d'origine égyptienne. Le travail est de très belle qualité.
