Description
Necklace composed of fifty-seven rectangular mother-of-pearl plates of various sizes. Pierced at both extremities, they could be assembled in a variety of manners together with coloured beads to create necklaces and bracelets. This type of jewellery is frequently found in Lower Nubia in C-Group graves and, more rarely, at Kerma.

Collier composé de cinquante-sept plaquettes rectangulaires taillées dans la nacre et de taille variable: perforées aux deux extrémités, elles sont assemblées de différentes manières, parfois avec des perles de couleurs, pour former colliers et bracelets. Ce type de bijoux est frequemment retrouvé en Basse Nubie dans les sépultures du Groupe C et plus rarement à Kerma.
