Fragment of a lovely, clearly depicted scarab (head, clypeus, crenellated legs). The reverse bears a spiral motif generally called Hyksos. However, prints of such stamps are frequently found in Nubian forts and appear from the Middle Kingdom onwards.

Fragment d'un joli scarabée bien dessiné (tête, clypeus, pattes dentelées), dont le plat porte un décor de spirales, généralement appelé Hyksôs mais dont on trouve fréquemment les empreintes dans les forteresses nubiennes, et qui apparait dès le Moyen Empire.
