Lovely and well-shaped scarab with depictions of the head, serrated clypeus, prothorax, elytra and crenellated legs. On the reverse is engraved the beginning of a title surrounded by flat spirals: "The overseer of ...".  It is possible that the owner's name started with the letter "i".

Joli scarabée bien formé avec tête et yeux, clypeus dentelé, prothorax et élytres indiquées, pattes rayées. Le plat porte le début d'un titre entouré de spirales plates: "Le directeur de ...", il est possible que le nom du propriétaire commence par un "i".
