Description
Circular bracelet in the shape of a ring, cut from a large shell. The edges and the rounded exterior surface were carefully polished, but the spirals and the mother-of-pearl were left unpolished on the interior surface. This very simple piece of jewellery bears all the characteristics of numerous bracelets made from ivory, bone and shells worn by C-Group people.

Bracelet circulaire, en forme de jonc, taillé dans un grand coquillage. Les bords ont été soigneusement polis ainsi que la face extérieure, bombée, mais les spirales et la nacre ont été laissées à l'état brut sur la face intérieure. Ce bijou, très simple, est représentatif des très nombreux bracelets, en ivoire, os et coquillage, portés par les populations du Groupe C.
