Description
This small scarab in blue faience comes from the excavations of Saft el-Henna undertaken by the "British School or Archaeology in Egypt" in 1906. It carries the coronation name of Thuthmosis III written in a cartouche and flanked by several hieroglyphic signs which are difficult to read. The dating of the piece is not certain.

Deze kleine scarabee in blauwe faience is afkomstig van de opgraving in Saft el-Hinna, ondernomen door de "British School of Archaeology in Egypt" in 1906. Het draagt de troonnaam van Thoetmosis III geschreven in een cartouche en geflankeerd door enkele hiëroglifische tekens die moeilijk leesbaar zijn. De datering van het stuk is niet zeker.
Ce petit scarabée en faïence bleue provient des fouilles de Saft el-Henna entreprises par le "British School of Archaeology in Egypt" en 1906. Il porte le nom de couronnement de Thoutmosis III inscrit dans un cartouche et flanqué de quelques signes hiéroglyphiques difficiles à lire. La datation de la pièce n'est pas certaine.
Dieser kleine Skarabäus aus blauer Fayence stammt aus den Grabungen der "British School of Archaeology in Egypt" 1906 in Saft el-Henna. Er trägt den Thronnamen Thutmosis' III. in einer Kartusche, die von einigen schwierig zu lesenden Hieroglyphen flankiert ist. Die Datierung des Stückes ist unsicher.
