Description
Amphora with an ovoid body that rests on a ring base. The tall cylindrical neck is surmounted by a thick flaring lip with a triangular cross-section, a shallow throat emphasising the external rim. A floral (and geometric) pattern has been applied on the orange surface of the upper section of the vessel. The pattern is composed as follows: on the shoulder, a row of berries above three horizontal bands; on the neck, branches of ivy(?) and a row of series of crosses between two crosspieces.

Amphore à panse ovoïde, reposant sur une base annulaire. Le col, haut et cylindrique, est surmonté d'une lèvre épaisse, évasée, de section triangulaire, une gorge peu profonde souligne le rebord externe. Un décor floral (et géométrique) est apposé sur la surface orangée de la partie supérieure du vase. Il se compose comme suit: sur l'épaule, le décor superpose un défilé de baies à trois larges bandes horizontales. Sur le col, entre deux croisillons, figurent des branches de lierre(?) et un défilé de croix.

Lieu de découverte: AM L Material: Pâte alluviale brun orangé de texture moyennement grossière. Présence de dégraissants végétaux. Couverture orangée dans la partie supérieure, surface lissée. Engobe rouge dans la partie inférieure. État de conservation: Restauration.
