Description
Bowl with a small flat base, flared carinated body and a lip which thickens on the outside in continuation of the body, made from a fine, buff-coloured common clay which has been polished (but still bears traces of striations). As was the custom during the Middle Kingdom and the beginning of the Second Intermediate Period, a stripe painted in red ochre adorns the exterior rim.

Bol à petit fond plat, panse évasée carénée, lèvre épaissie à l'extérieur dans le prolongement et pâte fine commune chamois, lissée (mais avec les traces de stries encore visibles). Une bande a été peinte à l'ocre rouge sur le bord externe, coutume fréquente à la Deuxième Période Intermédiaire et au début du Moyen Empire.
