Description

Lekythos with an ovoid body and a tall ring base, with light mouldings on the outside. The narrow neck has a spout.  A handle connects the lip with the shoulder. Throwing marks are highly visible on the exterior surface. The upper section of the body is blackish.

Lécythe à la panse ovoïde et à base annulaire haute, légèrement moulurée à l'extérieur. Col étroit avec bec verseur. Une anse joint la lèvre à l'épaule. Stries de tournage nettement visibles à l'extérieur. Partie supérieure de la panse noirâtre.

Pâte beige rosé, fine, dense, micacée ; quelques fibres végétales sont visibles en cassure et en surface. Surface externe revêtue d'un engobe beige rosé, poli.
