Description
''Tea-pot'' or spouted vase typical of the Classic Kerma period, found in a tomb of the northern necropolis at Sai: small flat bottom, pear-shaped body, wavy shoulder, unrestricted mouth and thinned lip. The vase is red with a glossy black border and the well-known irregular white band. There are visible wear marks, which proves that the vessel was used before it was placed in the tomb.
