Description
Very lovely small scarab with perfectly depicted anatomical details. The legs are raised off the flat surface, on which is carved the cartouche of Thutmosis III before the god Thoth on a basket. Since scarabs naming Thutmosis III were made over a period of many years, it is therefore impossible to provide a dating more precise than the New Kingdom.
