Dit recipiënt in terracotta is afkomstig uit opgravingen van het Egypt Exploration Fund te Abydos in 1912-1913. Zijn specifieke vorm toont aan dat het waarschijnlijk geïmporteerd is uit het Nabije Oosten. De fles, die men vaak in de taferelen van de Thebaanse graven afgebeeld vindt, werd gebruikt als waterkan.

Ce récipient en terre cuite provient des fouilles de l'Egypt Exploration Fund à Abydos en 1912-1913. Sa forme spécifique démontre vraisemblablement une importation proche-orientale. La bouteille, qu'on retrouve souvent représentée dans les scènes des tombes thébaines, a été utilisée comme aiguière.

Dieser Tonbehälter stammt aus den Grabungen des Egypt Exploration Fund 1912-1913 in Abydos. Seine besondere Form deutet wahrscheinlich auf eine vorderorientalischen Import hin. Die Flasche, die häufig in Szenen der thebanischen Gräber dargestellt ist, wurde als Wasserkanne verwendet.

Questo recipiente di terracotta proviene dagli scavi dell'Egypt Exploration Fund ad Abydos nel 1912-1913. La sua forma specifica dimostra probabilmente una importazione vicino-orientale. La bottiglia, che si ritrova spesso rappresentata nelle scene delle tombe tebane, é stata utilizzata come acquamanile.

Este recipiente de terracota provém das escavaçöes do Egypt Exploration Fund em Abidos em 1912-1913. A sua forma específica testemunha certamente uma importaçäo do Levante mediterrânico. O jarro, com uma asa, aparece representado com frequência nas cenas dos túmulos tebanos, e foi usado como gomil.

Este recipiente de barro cocido proviene de las excavaciones del Egypt Exploration Fund en Abydos en 1912-1913. Es probable que su forma demuestre que es una importación del Oriente Próximo y Medio. La botella, que aparece representada a menudo en las escenas de las tumbas tebanas, fue utilizada como aguamanil.

This receptacle of terracotta comes from the excavations of the Egypt Exploration fund at Abydos in 1912-1913. Its specific form probably demonstrates that it is of Near-Eastern import. The bottle, which is often found represented in  Theban tomb scenes, was used as a ewer.
