This receptacle of terracotta comes from the excavations of the Egypt Exploration fund at Abydos in 1912-1913. Its specific form probably demonstrates that it is of Near-Eastern import. The bottle, which is often found represented in Theban tomb scenes, was used as a ewer.

Dit recipiënt in terracotta is afkomstig uit opgravingen van het Egypt Exploration Fund te Abydos in 1912-1913.
