Description
Here is a set of five udjat-eyes found in the same New Kingdom tomb. The design of these pieces is very stylised. The eyebrow, the back of the eye as well as the uppermost section of the eye are not only incised by also perforated. Three of the pieces are made of a white or yellow enamel paste, the other two are blue-green. Each of these udjat-eyes is pierced longitudinally, thus allowing for its suspension.
