Head of a woman in Hellenistic style. The craftsmanship is rather fine, considering its size. The hair is pulled up in a chignon. Parted in the middle, it frames the face but is held back by a headband. The actual chignon was levelled out when the neck and the back of the head were recarved for repairs. A hole for a vertical tenon is pierced in the middle of the neck.

Tête de femme de style hellénistique. Facture assez fine compte tenu de la taille. Coiffure en chignon. Deux bandeaux de cheveux séparés par une raie médiane encadrent le visage. Ils sont retenus par un serre-tête. Le chignon proprement dit a été arasé au moment de la retaille du cou et de l'arrière de la tête lors d'une réparation. Un trou pour tenon vertical est percé au centre du cou.
