Description
Wheel-made cup fashioned from a buff-coloured Nile mud clay to which an organic temper was added. This might be a local product. A few spots or lines made using a white paint decorate the vessel, as is often found on common Middle Kingdom pottery.

Cette coupelle a été tournée avec une pâte chamois à base de limon du Nil auquel on a ajouté un dégraissant essentiellement végétal. Ce type de production pourrait être local. Comme souvent au Moyen Empire pour la céramique commune, on agrémente la vase par quelques gouttes ou traits de peinture blanche.
