Description
This is an elongated, oval-shaped jar with a rounded base that has been very slightly flattened. The neck is marked by a horizontal incised line, under which a very small protuberance appears at one place. The neck ends in a beaded lip, slightly flared along a length of 2 cm. Throwing marks are amply visible on the interior surface. The exterior bears evidence of large quantities of organic temper mixed with the clay. The exterior surface still bears traces of an orange slip and a white wash. The vessel was found by itself in the north-west end of the tomb.
