De jakhalskoppige Anoebis is lopend afgebeeld. Hij draagt een gestreepte rok en houdt een doekje in zijn rechter hand. Anoebis is vooral bekend als de god die voor het dode lichaam zorgde.
Anubis à tête de chacal est représenté dans l'attitude de la marche. Il porte un pagne plissé et une serviette dans la main droite. Le dieu Anubis était chargé de la toilette et des soins rituels dispensés au corps du défunt.
Der schakalsköpfige Gott Anubis ist schreitend dargestellt. Er ist mit einem plissierten Schurz bekleidet und trägt in der rechten Hand ein Schweißtuch. Die Hauptbedeutung des Gottes Anubis bestand in der rituellen Versorgung der Leiche.
