Description
This slender canopic jar has a lid in the shape of a falcon's head in a wig. According to the inscription it was originally fitted with a human-headed lid, as the canopic god mentioned on the vessel is Amset.

De slanke canope heeft een deksel in de vorm van een valkenkop met een pruik. Te oordelen naar de inscriptie <!-->moet de vaas oorspronkelijk een deksel in de vorm van een mensenhoofd gehad hebben - in de tekst wordt de god Amset genoemd.
Ce vase canope possède un couvercle hiéracocéphale. La tête est encadrée d'une perruque. Selon l'inscription, il devait être assorti, à l'origine, à un couvercle en forme de tête humaine. En effet, le dieu mentionné sur le récipient est Amset.
Das schlanke Kanopengefäss besitzt heute einen Deckel in Form eines Falkenkopfes, der von einer Perücke eingerahmt wird. Laut Inschrift gehörte ursprünglich ein Menschenkopf dazu, da der Kanopengott Amset genannt wird.
Questo slanciato vaso canopo ha un coperchio a forma di testa di falco con parrucca. In base dell'iscrizione esso era originariamente dotato di un coperchio a testa umana, dal momento che il dio menzionato sul vaso è Amset.
