Description
A miniature concubine figurine, finely worked but unfortunately incomplete. There is some detail and the piece is well polished. Such figurines may have been placed in the tombs of both male and females, their function being to symbolise the sexual aspects of rebirth and regeneration. Such female figures were often made of clay or faience and were truncated at the knees, they were found in both tombs and houses.

Miniatuurfiguurtje van een concubine, fraai bewerkt, maar helaas incompleet. Sommige van de details zijn uitgewerkt en het stuk is goed gepolijst. Dergelijke figuurtjes konden in het graf van mannen en vrouwen worden bijgezet om de seksuele aspecten van wedergeboorte en het nieuwe ontluiken te symboliseren. Dergelijke vrouwenfiguurtjes werden vaak van klei of faience gemaakt en bij de knieën afgeknot. Ze worden zowel in graven als in huizen aangetroffen.

Ces figurines étaient déposées dans les tombes d'hommes et de femmes pour symboliser l'aspect sexuel de la renaissance et de la régénération. Souvent en argile ou en faïence, des figurines féminines, tronquées à hauteur des genoux, ont été découvertes dans des tombes et à l'intérieur des maisons.

Solche Figürchen dienten sowohl Männern als auch Frauen als Grabbeigabe; ihre Funktion war die Symbolisierung der sexuellen Aspekte von Wiedergeburt und Regeneration. Solche weiblichen Figuren wurden oft aus Ton oder Fayence hergestellt und unterhalb der Knie abgeschnitten; sie wurden sowohl in Gräbern als auch in Häusern gefunden.
Figurina di concubina in miniatura, finemente lavorata ma sfortunatamente incompleta. Alcuni dettagli sono ancora visibili ed il pezzo risulta ben lucidato. Tali figurine potevano essere poste in tombe sia di uomini che di donne e la loro funzione era quella di simboleggiare gli aspetti sessuali della rinascita rigenerazione. Tali figure femminili erano spesso in argilla o faience ed erano troncate all'altezza delle ginocchia. Sono state trovate sia in tombe che in abitazioni.
Figurinha em miniatura de concubina, minuciosamente trabalhada mas, infelizmente, incompleta. Apresenta alguns detalhes e encontra-se bem polida. Estas figurinhas eram, provávelmente, colocadas nos túmulos femininos e masculinos, tendo como funçao simbolizar os aspectos sexuais do renascimento e da regeneraçao. Estas figuras femininas eram habitualmente feitas em barro ou faiança e cortada na zona dos joelhos, foram encontradas em ambos túmulos e casas.
Una figura de concubina en miniatura, magníficamente trabajada, pero desgraciadamente incompleta. La pieza, que posee algún detalle, está bien pulida. Este tipo de figuras se colocaba en las tumbas tanto de hombres como de mujeres y su función era la de simbolizar los aspectos sexuales del renacimiento y la regeneración. Este tipo de figuras femeninas era fabricado a menudo con arcilla o fayenza y estaba truncado a la altura de las rodillas; las figuras fueron encontradas tanto en tumbas como en casas.
