Description
A Two Fingers amulet made from slate, with the fingernails defined. On the back of the amulet are traces of gilding. Such amulets were often found near the embalming incision on the mummy and were probably intended to give extra protection to this vulnerable part of the body.

Tweevingeramulet van leisteen met gedefinieerde vingernagels. Op de rugzijde van het amulet zijn sporen van verguldsel te zien. Het amulet wordt vaak op mummies aangetroffen bij de insnede van de balsemer en men neemt aan dat het diende om extra bescherming te bieden aan dit kwetsbare deel van het lichaam. De vingernagels zijn gedefinieerd.
Amulette en ardoise représentant les "Deux Doigts". Les ongles ont été détaillés. L'arrière de l'amulette a conservé des traces de dorure. Cette amulette était souvent placée sur les momies, à proximité de l'incision d'embaumement. Elle protégeait ainsi cette partie très vulnérable du cadavre.
Ein Zweifingeramulett aus Schiefer mit ausgearbeiteten Fingernägeln. An der Rückseite des Amuletts haben sich Spuren von Vergoldung erhalten. Solche Amulette werden an Mumien häufig in der Nähe des Balsamierungsschnittes gefunden, und man nimmt daher an, daß sie diesem verwundbaren Teil des Körpers besonderen Schutz gewähren sollten.
Amuleto a forma di due dita, in ardesia, con le unghie definite. Sulla parte posteriore dell'amuleto ci sono tracce di doratura. Tali amuleti si trovano spesso vicino all'incisione operata durante il processo di imbalsamazione perchè fornissero un'ulteriore protezione a questa parte vulnerabile del corpo.
Amuleto de Dois Dedos feito em ardósia com as unhas dos dedos bem definidas. Na parte de trás do amuleto existem vestígios de douradura. Estes amuletos eram frequentemente encontrados perto da incisao do embalsamento da múmia sendo, provavelmente, destinado a dar protecçao extra a esta parte vulnerável do corpo.
Un amuleto de dos dedos hecho en pizarra, con las uñas definidas. En la parte posterior lleva restos de dorado. Estos amuletos se encuentra a menudo cerca de la incisión para embalsamar de las momias, por lo que se ha supuesto que pretendían proporcionar una protección extra a esta parte tan vulnerable del cuerpo.
