Description
A fragment of painted wood, possibly from a coffin. At left is the scarab beetle Khepry with a sun-disk between his back legs. On the right is a female figure, probably a goddess, kneeling with her right arm raised to her head. Opposite and above these figures, upside down and larger in scale, is the head and arm of a male figure, possibly Shu. The work is fine, the colours are still vivid. There are pegs on one of the sides.
