Description
A carved wooden model of a serving girl who is carrying a chest on her head and a pair of geese in her hand. The linen robe disintegrated in transit and was restored. Servants carrying offerings were an important part of the equipment placed in the tomb and many were depicted walking in procession on the wall relief scenes, sometimes individual figures such as this were also found along with other wooden models depicting everyday life.

Een houten model van een jonge dienares die een kistje op het hoofd draagt en een paar ganzen in haar hand heeft. De linnen jurk was uit elkaar gevallen bij het transport en is gerestaureerd. Dienaren die offers aandragen waren een belangrijk onderdeel van de uitrusting die in het graf werd geplaatst, en vele offerbrengers werden in processie afgebeeld in de reliëfs op de grafwanden. Soms worden individuele figuren zoals deze ook alleen gevonden, samen met andere modellen van het dagelijks leven.
Modèle en bois d'une servante portant une caisse sur la tête et tenant une paire d'oies dans la main. La robe en lin s'est désintégrée pendant le transport et fut restaurée. Les servantes apportant des offrandes font partie intégrante du mobilier funéraire et sont représentées en procession sur les murs des tombes. Des figures individuelles comme cet exemple se retrouvent parmi les modèles représentant la vie quotidienne.
Geschnitzte Holznachbildung einer Dienerin, die eine Kiste auf ihrem Kopf trägt und ein Paar Gänse in ihrer Hand hält. Die Kleidung aus Leinen ist während des Transportes zerfallen und wurde restauriert. Opfertragende Diener waren ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Ausrüstung, die in das Grab mitgegeben wurde. Viele wurden in Reliefszenen auf Wänden in Prozession marschierend dargestellt, und manchmal wurden wie hier Einzelfiguren auch zusammen mit anderen Holznachbildungen gefunden, die das tägliche Leben schildern.
Un modello intagliato in legno di una servitrice che porta un recipiente sulla testa e due oche in mano. Il vestito di lino si deteriorò durante il trasporto e fu ricostruito. I servitori che portano offerte costituivano una parte importante dell'equipaggiamento posto nella tomba; molti erano rappresentati mentre avanzavano in processione sulle scene dei rilievi murali, qualche volta figure individuali come questa si rinvengono anche insieme ad altri modelli di legno raffiguranti momenti della vita quotidiana.
Modelo esculpido em madeira de uma jovem serva carregando um cofre na cabeça e com um par de gansos na mão. O vestido de linho, desintegrado desintegrado durante o transporte da peça, foi restaurado. Servos e servas carregando oferendas faziam parte importante do equipamento colocado no túmulo e muitos eram representados a caminhar em procissão nas cenas de relevo em paredes. Ocasionalmente, figuras individuales como ésta aparecen junto con otros modelos de madera mostrando escenas de la vida cotidiana.
