A small drop vase made from pottery, painted red with a dark red border around the rim.

Kleine druppelvaas van aardewerk, in rood beschilderd, met een donkerrode baan rond de rand.

Petit vase en terre cuite, en forme de goutte et peint en rouge. Le bord est entouré d'une bordure rouge foncé.

Ein kleines, tropfenförmiges, rot bemaltes Gefäß mit einem dunkelroten Streifen um den Rand herum.

Piccolo vaso in terracotta, dipinto di rosso con un bordo rosso scuro attorno all'orlo.

Vaso com goteira, pequeno, feito em cerâmica e pintado em vermelho com cercadura vermelho escura, em torno do rebordo.

Pequeño vaso de cerámica en forma de gota, pintado de rojo con un banda rojo oscuro en el extremo del borde.

Object''s History

Discovered during Garstang's excavations at Beni Hassan, the piece was brought to England by Norman de Garis Davies. In 1952 the vase was given to Liverpool Museum by his wife, Nina de Garis Davies.
