Description
A finely worked wooden statuette of the goddess Taweret. She is standing with her left leg forward and both arms straight at the side of her body. She wears a small modius headdress. There are traces of paint on her body and black facial details. Taweret was a household deity most often associated with the protection of women in childbirth.

Fijnbewerkt houten beeldje van de godin Taweret, afgebeeld met het linkerbeen naar voren en beide armen recht langs het lijf hangend. Ze draagt een kleine zogenaamde 'modius' hoofdtooi. Op het lichaam zijn nog sporen verf te zien, op het gezicht details in zwart. Taweret was een huisgodin die meestal werd geassocieerd met de bescherming van barende vrouwen.
Statuette en bois, finement travaillée, représentant la déesse Taouret. Elle est figurée debout, la jambe gauche en avant, les deux bras le long du corps. Elle est coiffée d'un petit modius. Des traces de peinture subsistent sur le corps et les traits du visage sont noirs. Taouret était une divinité de la maison, protectrice des femmes en couches.
Eine fein gearbeitete Holzstatuette der Göttin Taweret. Sie steht mit vorgestelltem linkem Bein und gerade am Körper angelegten Armen. Sie trägt einen kleinen Kalathos auf dem Kopf. Auf ihrem Körper sind Reste von Farbe zu sehen, ihre Gesichtszüge sind schwarz umrissen. Taweret war eine Hausgottheit, die meist mit dem Schutz der Frauen während der Geburt in Zusammenhang gebracht wird.
Statuetta in legno finemente lavorata, raffigurante la dea Tauret. La figura è stante ha la gamba sinistra in avanti e tiene le braccia lungo i fianchi. Indossa una piccola parrucca. Vi sono tracce di colore sul corpo ed i dettagli del volto sono resi in nero. Tauret era una divinità domestica spesso associata alla protezione delle donne durante il parto.
Estatueta da deusa Taueret, em madeira e trabalhada de forma minuciosa. Está representada de pé, com a perna esquerda ligeiramente avançada e ambos os braços estendidos lateralmente ao longo do corpo. Usa pequeno toucado e apresenta vestígios de coloraçao no corpo e detalhes faciais em preto. Taueret era uma divindade doméstica, geralmente associada à protecçao da mulher e do nascimento.
Una magníficamente trabajada estatuilla de madera de la diosa Tueris. Está de pie con la pierna izquierda adelantada y los dos brazos colgado a los costados. Viste un pequeño modio como tocado. Hay restos de pintura en el cuerpo y los rasgos faciales están pintados de negro. Tueris era una deidad del hogar asociada la mayor parte de las veces con la protección de la mujer durante el parto.
