Description
A fragment from a canopic jar lid made from pottery in the form of Amset. The face and edges of the headdress only remains, the wig part of the stopper is missing. The face is very finely modelled, the expression serene, with the details of features and wig bands outlined in black. There are traces of yellow paint still visible on the face.

Deel van aardewerken deksel van canopenvaas in de vorm van Amset. Alleen het gezicht en de uiteinden van de hoofdtooi zijn over; het deel van de pruik bij de stop ontbreekt. Het gezicht is zeer fraai gemodelleerd en heeft een serene uitdrukking. De trekken en pruikbanden zijn zwart aangezet. Op het gezicht zijn nog sporen van gele verf.
Fragment d'un couvercle de vase canope en terre cuite représentant Amset. Le visage et les bords de la coiffe sont conservés. La perruque est partiellement perdue. Les traits ont été très délicatement modelés. L'expression est sereine. Les détails et la perruque sont rehaussés de noir. Des traces de peinture jaune sont encore visibles sur la face.
Ein Fragment eines Kanopenkrugdeckels aus Ton in Gestalt des Amset. Das Gesicht und die Ränder des Kopfschmucks sind alles, was noch erhalten ist, die Perücke des Verschlusses fehlt. Das Gesicht ist sehr fein geformt, der Ausdruck ist heiter-gelassen, die Details der Gesichtszüge und die Perückenbänder sind schwarz bemalt. Auf dem Gesicht sind noch Spuren gelber Farbe zu sehen.
Frammento del coperchio di vaso canopo in terracotta, avente la forma di Amset. Il volto e le estremità della parrucca è tutto ciò che rimane, mentre la parrucca è andata perduta. Il volto è modellato molto bene, l'espressione risulta serena, i dettagli del volto e le fasce della parrucca sono sottolineati in nero. Vi sono tracce di colore giallo ancora visibili sul volto.
Fragmento de tampa de vaso de vísceras, feita em cerâmica, com a forma de Imseti. A face e extremidades do toucado sao apenas o que resta, estando a peruca e parte da rolha perdidos. A face está excelentemente modelada, de expressao serena e com detalhes dos traços faciais e faixas da peruca delineados a preto. Apresenta vestígios de coloraçao amarela sobre a face.
Fragmento de una tapadera de vaso canopo de cerámica con la forma de Amset. Sólo quedan restos de la cara y los bordes del tocado; la parte de la peluca del tapón ha desaparecido. La cara está magníficamente modelada; la expresión es serena, con los detalles de los rasgos y las bandas de la peluca perfilados con negro. Todavía hay restos de pintura amarilla en la cara.
