Description
The lid of a canopic jar, made from pottery in the form of the human-headed Amset, one of the four Sons of Horus. The lid is hollow and finely worked with the facial features picked out with black paint. Traces of red and yellow paint are still visible. Amset was the protector of the liver.

Deksel van een canopenvaas, van aardewerk, in de vorm van de menshoofdige Amset, een van de vier Horuszonen. Het deksel is hol en fraai bewerkt. De gelaatstrekken zijn in zwarte verf aangezet. Er zijn nog sporen te zien van rode en gele verf. Amset beschermde de lever.
Couvercle de vase canope en terre cuite, en forme de tête humaine. Il s'agit d'Amset, l'un des quatre Fils d'Horus. Le couvercle est creux et finement travaillé. Les traits faciaux sont rehaussés de peinture noire. Des traces jaunes et rouges sont encore visibles. Amset était le protecteur du foie.
Der Deckel eines Kanopenkruges aus Ton in Form des menschenköpfigen Amset, eines der vier Horuskinder. Der Deckel ist hohl und fein gearbeitet, die Gesichtszüge sind durch schwarze Farbe hervorgehoben. Es sind auch noch Spuren gelber und roter Farbe zu sehen. Amset war der Beschützer der Leber.
Coperchio di vaso canopo in terracotta avente la forma di Amset dalla testa umana, uno dei Quattro Figli di Horo. Il coperchio è cavo e finemente lavorato con i lineamenti del volto sottolineati in nero, Sono ancora visibili tracce di colore rosso e giallo. Amset era il protettore del fegato.
Tampa de vaso de vísceras, em cerâmica e com a forma de Imseti com cabeça humana, um dos quatro Filhos de Hórus. A tampa é côncava, minuciosamente trabalhada, com traços faciais evidenciados a tinta preta. Vestígios de tinta vermelha e amarela sao ainda visíveis. Imseti era o protector do fígado.
Tapadera de vaso canopo, hecha de cerámica con forma de cabeza humana; de Amset, uno de los cuatro Hijos de Horus. La tapadera es hueca y está magníficamente trabajada con los rasgos faciales resaltados con pintura negra. Todavía son visibles restos de pintura roja y amarilla. Amset era el protector del hígado.
