Description
A pottery funerary cone, the tip of which is broken off. The stamp is practically illegible but the figure of a kneeling man, arms raised in a gesture of adoration, can be seen on the left side. Above and before him are three vertical columns of text, reading right to left. Such cones were placed outside of the tomb, probably pushed into the wet plaster of the lintel. The broad inscribed end would then be visible to all who passed.

Aardewerken grafkegel met afgebroken uiteinde. Het zegel is nagenoeg onleesbaar, maar links is een knielende figuur te zien met armen in aanbidding geheven. Boven en voor hem staan drie verticale kolommen tekst, die van rechts naar links <!-->moet worden gelezen. Dergelijke kegels werden bij de ingang van het graf geplaatst, waarschijnlijk in het natte pleisterwerk van de bovendrempel. Zo was het brede uiteinde met opschrift voor iedereen te zien.
Cône funéraire en terre cuite dont la pointe est cassée. L'estampe est pratiquement illisible, mais on peut voir, à gauche, la figure d'un homme agenouillé, les bras levés en signe d'adoration. Au-dessus et devant ce personnage, apparaissent trois colonnes de texte à lire de droite à gauche. Ces cônes étaient placés à l'extérieur des tombes, probablement enfoncés dans le plâtre encore humide du linteau. Ainsi, tous ceux qui passaient devant la tombe pouvaient voir les inscriptions figurant sur la base circulaire.
Ein Grabkegel aus Ton mit abgebrochener Spitze. Die Stempelfläche ist praktisch unleserlich, aber die Figur eines knienden Mannes mit anbetend erhobenen Armen ist links zu erkennen. Über und vor ihm befinden sich drei vertikale Textkolumnen, die von rechts nach links zu lesen sind. Grabkegel wurden an Grabeingängen angebracht, wahrscheinlich wurden sie in den feuchten Putz des Türsturzes geschoben. Das beschriftete, breite Ende war für alle, die am Grab vorübergingen, sichtbar.
Cono funerario in terracotta, la cui punta è stata spezzata. Lo stampo risulta praticamente illeggibile ma si può vedere sulla sinistra la figura di un uomo in ginocchio con le braccia alzate in gesto di adorazione. Al di sopra e di fronte a questa figura vi sono tre colonne verticali di testo disposte da destra a sinistra. I coni erano posti all'ingresso della tomba, e venivano probabilmente pressati all'interno dell'intonaco bagnato dello stipite della porta, perché potessero essere visibili a tutti.
Cone funerário em cerâmica, com topo partido. O selo está praticamente ilegível mas, a figura, de homem ajoelhado, braços erguidos em sinal de adoraçao, pode ainda ser observado no lado esquerdo. Por cima e perante a figura encontram-se três colunas verticais de texto, lido da direita para a esquerda. Estes cones eram colocados no exterior dos túmulos, provávelmente, pressionados no gesso fresco do lintel. A inscriçao na parte mais larga do cone era visível por todos os que passavam perto do túmulo.
Cono funerario con la punta partida. La estampilla es practicamente ilegible, pero la figura de un hombre arrodillado con los brazos alzados en señal de adoración es visible en la parte izquierda. Por encima de él hay tres columnas de texto que se leen de derecha a izquierda. Estos conos se colocaban en la entrada de las tumbas, probablemente incrustados en el yeso fresco del dintel. El extremo ancho, inscrito, era así visible para todo el que pasaba por delante.

General Comment
Provenance: Probably Thebes. Preservation: The tip of the cone is missing. There are traces of a blue colour on the side of the cone but this is probably modern.
