Description
This mirror in bronze, which was acquired in Cairo in 1905 by J. Capart, is composed of a slightly oval-shaped disc and a handle in the form of a silhouette of a woman. The person holds her two arms towards the top in order to touch the umbels of the papyrus flower which surmounts her hair with wavy locks. The piece, which is in a good state of preservation, dates from the New Kingdom.

Deze bronzen spiegel, die in 1905 door J. Capart verworven is in Cairo, is samengesteld uit een schijf met een licht ovale vorm en een handvat in de vorm van een silhouet van een vrouw. De persoon strekt beide armen naar boven uit om de neerhangende schermbloemen van de papyrusbloem aan te raken die op het kapsel met golvende lokken staat. Het stuk, dat in een goede bewaringstoestand verkeert, dateert uit het Nieuwe Rijk.
Ce miroir en bronze, qui a été acquis au Caire en 1905 par J. Capart, se compose d'un disque de forme légèrement ovale et d'un manche en forme de silhouette de femme. Le personnage tend les deux bras vers le haut afin de toucher les ombelles retombantes de la fleur de papyrus qui surmonte sa chevelure à mèches ondulées. La pièce, qui est en bon état de conservation, date du Nouvel Empire.
Dieser Bronzespiegel, den J. Capart 1905 in Kairo erwarb, besteht aus einer leicht ovalen Scheibe und einem Griff, der die Gestalt einer Frau besitzt. Sie streckt beide Arme nach oben, um die herabhängenden Dolden der Papyruspflanze zu berühren, die sich über ihrem Haar aus gewellten Strähnen befindet. Das gut erhaltene Stück datiert in das Neue Reich.
Questo specchio di bronzo, che é stato acquistato al Cairo nel 1905 da J. Capart, si compone di un disco di forma leggermente ovale e di un manico a forma di silhouette di donna. Il personaggio tende le due braccia verso l'alto in modo da toccare le umbelle che ricadono dal fiore di papiro che sormonta la sua capigliatura a ciocche ondulate. Il pezzo, che é in buono stato di conservazione, data al Nuovo Regno.
Este espelho de bronze, que foi comprado no Cairo por Jean Capart em 1905, é composto por um disco de forma ligeiramente oval e por um cabo que tem a forma de uma rapariga. A jovem estende os braços para cima a fim de tocar nas umbelas que tombam da flor de papiro que se encontra sobre a sua peruca de madeixas onduladas. A peça, que está em bom estado de conservaçäo, data do Império Novo.
Este espejo, que fue adquirido en El Cairo en 1905 por J. Capart, está formado por un disco de forma ligeramente ovalada y de un mango que tiene forma de mujer. El personaje extiende sus brazos hacia arriba para tocar las las umbelas que caen de la flor de papiro que corona su cabellera de mechones ondulados. La pieza data del Imperio Nuevo.
