Description
Moulded blue faience pendant in the shape of a cartouche containing the throne name of Akhenaten, broken below the centre point. Rings and pendants bearing the name of the king were recovered in large numbers from the excavations of his city at el-`Amarna. Their precise source and significance is unknown; possibly such personal tokens of loyalty may have been distributed from the palace at important festivals.

In mal gemaakte blauwe faience hanger in de vorm van een cartouche die de troonnaam van Achnaton bevat, onder het midden afgebroken. Ringen en hangers met de naam van de koning werden in groten getale aangetroffen bij de opgravingen van zijn stad in El-`Amarna. Hun precieze herkomst en betekenis is onbekend; wellicht werden dergelijke persoonlijke tekens van loyaliteit op belangrijke feesten vanuit het paleis verspreid.
Pendentif en faïence bleue, moulé en forme de cartouche contenant le nom de trône d'Akhénaton, dont la moitié inférieure est cassée. Des bagues et des pendentifs portant le nom du roi ont été découverts, en grand nombre, lors des fouilles d`Amarna. L'origine précise et la signification de ces objets sont inconnues; le palais distribuait peut-être, lors de fêtes importantes, de telles insignes de loyauté.
Geformter Anhänger aus blauer Fayence in Gestalt einer Kartusche, die den Thronnamen des Echnaton enthält; sie ist unterhalb der Mitte abgebrochen. Ringe und Anhänger mit dem Königsnamen wurden in großer Zahl bei den Ausgrabungen in seiner Stadt bei el-`Amarna gefunden. Ihre genaue Herkunft und Bedeutung ist unbekannt; möglicherweise wurden derartige persönliche Zeichen der Treue bei wichtigen Festen vom Palast verteilt.
Pendente modellato in faience blu avente la forma di un cartiglio contenente il <!-->nome di trono di Akhenaton, rotto al di sotto del punto centrale. Anelli e pendenti riportanti il <!-->nome del re furono scoperti in grande quantità dagli scavi della città di El-`Amarna. La fonte ed il significato preciso sono sconosciuti; probabilmente questi contrassegni personali di lealtà venivano distribuiti da parte del palazzo durante importanti festività.

Foram encontradas anéis e pendentes com o <!-->nome do rei em grande número nas escavações na sua cidade em El-`Amarna. A sua origem precisa e significado não se conhece; possivelmente estes presentes de lealdade podem ter sido distribuídos pelo palácio em festivais importantes.
