Description
Cylindrical vessel of calcite (Egyptian alabaster), from a rich burial at the 1st Dynasty cemetery at Tarkhan, between Memphis and the Faiyum. The burial contained a wooden coffin, with a double row of jars along each side. The burial was covered by a roof of two wooden beams supporting seven branches.

Cilindrische vat van calciet (Egyptisch albast), uit een rijke bijzetting in het grafveld uit de 1e Dynastie in Tarchan, tussen Memphis en de Fajoem. Het graf bevatte een houten sarcofaag, met een dubbele rij kruiken aan iedere kant. De bijzetting werd bedekt door een dak van twee houten balken die zeven takken schraagden.
Récipient cylindrique en calcite (albâtre égyptien), provenant d'une riche tombe datant de la Ière Dynastie et située à Tarkhan, entre Memphis et le Fayoum. La tombe contenait un cercueil en bois, avec une double rangée de jarres disposées le long de chaque côté. Elle était couverte d'un toit fait de deux poutres en bois supportant sept branches.
Zylindrisches Gefäß aus Kalzit (Ägyptischer Alabaster) aus einer reichen Bestattung im Friedhof der 1. Dynastie in Tarchan zwischen Memphis und dem Faijum. Die Bestattung enthielt einen hölzernen Sarg, zu dessen Seiten sich je eine Doppelreihe von Gefäßen befand. Das Grab war mit einem Dach aus zwei Holzbalken abgedeckt, auf denen sieben Äste ruhten.

La tomba conteneva un sarcofago di legno con una doppia fila di giare su ciascun lato. La tomba era coperta da un tetto composto da due travi di legno che sostenevano sette rami.

A sepultura continha o corpo de um homem, virado para este e cabeça orientada para norte, e media 30 por 60 por 78 cm. Ao lado dos três tipos de recipientes de cerâmica, encontravam-se seis recipientes de pedra, marca de uma estatuto moderadamente abastado.

El enterramiento contenía un sarcófago de madera, con una doble hilera de vasos a cada lado. La tumba estaba cubierta con un techo formado por dos troncos que soportaban siete ramas.
