The Global Egyptian Museum

Stuk van een bruin effen linnen kledingstuk met een rood- en witgeverfde zoom in een gestileerd bloemenmotief. Dit exemplaar maakt onderdeel uit van een verzameling Koptische stukken die in de Fajoem is aangekocht, en zeer instructief is voor het vergelijken van regionaal textielwerk, samen met de schitterende collectie uit Achmim in Opper-Egypte, die in 1888 is aangekocht.

Fragment d'un tissu de fond brun provenant d'une robe. Une bordure, teinte en rouge et blanc, comporte des motifs floraux. Cette pièce appartient à un groupe de tissus coptes provenant du Fayoum. Ce groupe permet d'établir d'intéressantes comparaisons avec la magnifique collection acquise à Akhmim, en Haute Égypte, en 1888.

Teil eines braunen Leinengewandes mit einem roten und weißen Rand aus stilisiert floralen Motiven. Es gehört zu einer Gruppe von koptischen Stoffen, die im Faijum erworben wurde und eine lehrreiche regionale Vergleichsgruppe darstellt neben der ausgezeichneten Reihe aus Achmim in Ober-Ägypten, die 1888 angekauft worden war.

Frammento di un indumento in lino marrone con il bordo di un motivo floreale tinto in rosso e bianco. Questo oggetto proviene da un gruppo di tessuti copti, acquistati nel Faiyum, che formano un gruppo istruttivo per confronti regionali, oltre alla raffinata serie proveniente da Akhmim nell'Alto Egitto, acquistata nel 1888.

Segmento de roupagem em linho com fundo castanho e com cercadura de motivos florais vermelha e branca. Pertence a conjunto de tecidos coptas adquirido em Faium, que forma grupo bastante interessante, de comparação regional, com o de Akhmim no Alto Egipto, adquirido em 1888.

Segmento de un vestido de lino de fondo marrón con un borde teñido de rojo y blanco de estilizados motivos florales. Procede de una serie de tejidos coptos adquiridos en el Fayum que, junto al magnífico grupo de Ajmim, en el Alto Egipto, adquirido en 1888, forman un instructivo conjunto para realizar comparaciones regionales.
