Description
Handmade pottery vessel of Nile silt, with spherical body, narrower neck, and wide mouth with out-turned rim. It was found in a predynastic burial at Abydos, along with eleven other vases, and the body of an adult female. Fragments of malachite were found at the left hand, for use as green eye-paint. The burial survived intact.

Handgemaakte aardewerken kruik van Nijlklei, met bolvormig lichaam, nauwere hals en wijde mond met naar buiten gebogen rand. De kruik is gevonden in een predynastieke bijzetting in Abydos, met elf andere vazen en het lichaam van een volwassen vrouw. Op haar linkerhand werden fragmenten malachiet gevonden, om als oogverf te gebruiken. De bijzetting was intact.
Récipient en limon du Nil, façonné à la main, au corps sphérique, au col étroit, à large ouverture avec lèvre débordante. Il a été découvert dans une tombe prédynastique d'Abydos, en compagnie de onze autres vases et du cops d'une femme adulte. Des fragments de malachite, fard vert pour les yeux, ont été retrouvés dans sa main gauche. La tombe est intacte.
Handgefertigtes Tongefäß aus Nilschlamm mit kugeligem Körper, schmalerem Hals und einer weiten Mündung mit auswärts gebogenem Rand. Es wurde in einer prädynastischen Bestattung in Abydos neben elf weiteren Gefäßen und dem Körper einer erwachsenen Frau gefunden. An der linken Hand wurden Fragmente von Malachit gefunden, der als grüne Augenschminke diente. Die Bestattung war intakt.
Vaso di terracotta fatto a mano, in limo del Nilo, con corpo sferico, collo stretto, bocca ampia ed orlo rivolto verso l'esterno. L'oggetto è stato trovato in una tomba predinastica ad Abydos, assieme ad undici altri vasi e al corpo di una donna adulta. Frammenti di malachite, utilizzata come belletto per gli occhi di colore verde, sono stati trovati sulla mano destra. La tomba è sopravvissuta intatta.
