Description
Kohl pots were used in the Middle Kingdom to contain the classic black eye-pigment, similar to the modern material known by the Arabic word kohl. In general the earlier Middle Kingdom examples are squatter, the later taller.

Des étuis à kohol furent employés, pendant le Moyen Empire, pour contenir le classique pigment noir destiné à maquiller et à protéger les yeux.
