Description
Bronze figure of a winged Cupid, holding in his left hand a stand supporting perhaps a mirror, and with his right hand raised to his head. The scale and shape suggest that it formed part of a larger object such as a vase or lamp. It was found at Memphis, and dated to the period of Roman occupation, when the city was still a flourishing centre of trade.

Figure en bronze d'un Cupidon ailé.
